DMX started rapping as early as the mid 1990s. In the month of May 1998, He released his first album, It's Dark and HOT. DMX released other albums like... Then Then There Was X and the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. The album, titled ... and Then There was X was also nominated to win a Grammy in the Best Rap Album category in 2001. Along with his music professional career, he's been in movies such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Excit Wounds Always Die Alone, Never Die in a room alone, bleeding Romeo Will Die Backstage beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
